Kim MarksKim Marks began her career in graphic design and marketing communications after graduating from Brenau Women’s College in 1984. Some twenty years later, she applied her creative energies in a more targeted direction. She first marketed her paintings and handmade notecards through in-home art parties and soon began participating in southeastern art shows and festivals. Since late 2001, Marks has built an impressive body of work.“I paint whimsy that fans imagination and speaks to your heart. Since my grandmother placed a paintbrush in my hand as a toddler, art has been a motivating force in my life. My vibrant compositions add color and energy to any decor. For each image I create, my hope is that ‘this one’ will speak to someone.” Marks steals away to her in-home art studio in Lilburn, Georgia every chance she gets.
